This build: More smarts, less false suggestions in plain English detectors
We’ve been working with a number of clients to tweak and tighten the plain English algorithms in Credosity so they’re a little less … annoying.
We’re all about clear, concise communication but Credosity was finding edits that didn’t make sense in the business context.
So we changed that.
Two key things we’ve just shipped:
- Retweaked some smarts around syllable count, character count and how Credosity suggests shorter, snappier synonyms (and saves you wading through the rest).
- Updated the Credosity Master Dictionary smarts so it won’t catch common corporate words that you can’t avoid using e.g. superannuation, architectural, executive. More on this one to come.
For our auto-updaters you'll be getting this build the next time you restart Word and Outlook. For everyone else, go make a coffee for your friendly IT team and suggest it's time for a Credosity update. They can download the latest from your company dashboard.
Or contact us - we'll be happy to help.
